After our free visit, I’ll give you a quote based on the size of your space. It’s affordable and super transparent—no surprises.
I don’t install plants, but most of my clients either DIY with the plan or bring it to a local landscaping crew to execute.
I’m based in Frisco and also work with homeowners in McKinney, Plano, Prosper, and surrounding areas.
Definitely. I’ll include a paper design you can submit to your HOA—it’s all part of the package.

About
Hi, I’m Sarah Gordon
Owner and designer here at Garden Glow.
I’ve had my hands in the dirt (literally!) for years, and I genuinely love helping people create landscapes they’re proud of. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Horticulture with a concentration in Floral Management from Mississippi State University, and I’ve been lucky to work alongside some incredible mentors along the way.
After moving to Frisco in 2019, I joined the landscape team at Shades of Green nursery. I learned so much there—especially about Texas native plants—from Jeff McCauley and his team. Before that, I worked in Lake Charles, Louisiana at Landscape Management, Inc., where I got my start in both the landscape and nursery sides of the business.
Today, I combine all of that experience to help local homeowners turn ideas into vibrant, livable outdoor spaces—without the stress.

I currently offer two types of services:

Custom Landscape Design
We’ll start with a free on-site visit where I’ll walk through your yard, hear about your ideas, and ask for a copy of your survey plat (this helps me create a detailed plan). Then, I’ll create a full-color landscape design tailored to your space, preferences, HOA requirements, and plant needs. You’ll receive a printed plan and a curated list of plant materials so you can DIY—or pass the plan to a landscaper. I also have referrals if you’d rather have someone install it for you.
Pricing based on yard size:

500–1,499 sqft: $500
1,500–2,999 sqft: $700
3,000–4,499 sqft: $850
4,500+ sqft: $1,000
Our final visit will be in person at a location of your choice, where I’ll walk you through your completed plan.

Nursery Visit + Plant Guidance
$60/hour
Need help choosing plants in person? I’ll meet you at the nursery of your choice and walk you through your options based on your layout, sun exposure, and overall goals. You won’t be left wandering the aisles guessing—I’ll help you make confident choices that work.
I’m based in Frisco, Texas, and I design for homes all around our area. Whether you’re in McKinney, Prosper, Little Elm, Plano, Celina, or anywhere nearby—I’m happy to come take a look at your space and help bring your landscape ideas to life.
